Overview


Conversion tuning / landing page optimisation as it is also known is probably one of the most significant means improving the effectiveness of your website. Your site undergoes continual testing which if done correctly means constant improvement which means no costly design change mistakes and an on going improvement in your conversion rate.

Although there are a number of software programs that can be used for improving your site success including "Adobe Omniture" and "Webtrends Optimize" this training course focuses on Google Website Optimizer - because it's free and can be used in conjunction with Google Analytics.

This course is not technical, any complex concepts are explained in simple lay persons terms to introduce you to this method of testing, both split testing and multivariate testing.

The aim of the course is to give delegates the ability to create and implement website optimizer "experiments". Delegates will be taught how to test design and content to increase your website conversion rate. This course can be done in isolation but really benefits from being taught in conjunction with taking the Google Analytics courses.
